Ultra 3 and Ultra 5 ultrasonic level sensors photoUltra 3 and Ultra 5 combine several world-class, full function, non-contacting ultrasonic level measurement instruments into one. Making use of the latest microprocessor and clever software development, Pulsar engineers have created devices that can be simply configured by the user to become fully functioned control units. Through the use of ULTRA WIZARD, an integrated high level software configuration tool, you select your application and the Ultra unit configures itself. For example, if flow is chosen, you get the most accurate open channel flow meter available with all the PMD calculations preconfigured. Market leading pump control features are built into both Ultra 3 and 5, and an extensive set of volume calculations and linearization features are available for tank or silo level measurement.

No interface is too thin

Most 2-wire TDR devices measure down to a dielectric of 1.5. As a result, many organic compounds are not measured properly. OPTIFLEX measures down to 1.4 (and even 1.1 using its first-rate tank-bottom following mode).

Objects in tank
Agitators, struts, inlets, ladders and similar objects have less effect on signal reduction. The high-quality signal is easier to evaluate and the results are more accurate and repeatable.

Krohne 6300C Radar for Solids Applications

OPTIWAVE 6300 Non-contact Radar (FMCW) Level Meter for Solids photoThis device is a non-contact Radar (FMCW) Level Meter for distance, level and volume measurement of powders, granulates and other solids. It provides a more stable measurement than pulse radar and is well suited to dusty process conditions. The device can operate at very low and very high process temperatures as long as the process connection temperature limits are observed.
